These are the different breeds we raise and love so much. Each are different in many ways but a like in many ways too. We breed our dogs for conformation which is very important. A puppy should have certain characteristics to his breed. Each breeding is planned to produce the best possible cross for the best looking puppies possible. If we raise or buy a puppy that does not turn out to have a good conformation, we sell it as a pet. Conformation is a very important part of being a good breeder. Nobody wants a long legged dachshund with short ears, a shelties with very little hair coat, a maltese with horrible tearstains. Choices should be made by a breeer to produce each and every puppy to be the best it can be.....
We also breed for temperaments, not all dog have good personalities, get a long well with other dogs and people. If we buy or raise a dog with a so so personality we will discontinue breeding this line. Personality comes from the parents and if the parents are shy then their offspring tends to be shy as well. We like for all of our little pups to have very outgoing personalities and adjust well to their new home and family. Nobody wants a puppy that is scared of humans and others dogs...that runs away or does not want to be cuddled.
We like raising our on pups from our dogs this ensure the conformation and personality. We do sometimes purchase from other breeders with good quality dogs that will improve the quality of our lines and also introduce new bloodlines to our lines. Any "breeder" can buy dogs from another breeders put them together and have a litter but will these pups have good conformation, will they have good temperaments. When you select each male each female from YOUR lines for certain reason to improve a puppy's appearance not buy dogs and just breed them you are breeding for the dog breed. When you know each of your dogs personality, each dogs flaws and what cross should be made to improve their offspring...this is breeding....
This is the way to get good quality puppies!!!!!! This is what we have done over the years and we feel our dogs speak for themselves you can see the conformation and our testimonal page is filled with folks that got a healthy puppy with a very loving outgoing personality.
We DO NOT mind at all that others breeders sell their pups with full AKC registration and sell at cheap prices....a breeder knows the cost, time and hard work they have put into their lines and what their puppies are worth. We know the time of raising each pup and not all turn out, we know the hours spent looking for the right new male, we know the disappointment of crossing the perfect pair and not getting a female pup. We know the hours spent driving to look at a new puppy and its just not what we were looking for, we know what a good dilute coat should be and will not breed a dilute with a bad coat. To sum it up we know our dogs, our puppies, our time and our lines, we know quality is our goal.
We sell most of our puppies with Limited Registration because we have worked so very hard to produce wonderful looking dogs/puppies with good personalities from our lines not other breeders lines. We believe the quality of your lines as a breeder reflects the type of breeder you are..... are you a breeder looking to make money or are you a breeder with a true passion for the breed, willing to sell a beautiful , gorgeous female as a pet because she does not have a good dilute coat or would you just breed her anyway and her offspring have bad coats too.
Our pups are priced according to their quality....if you are looking for a puppy that looks like it should meaning has been bred according to their breed standard then you are on the right site.
Our pups may be more expensive than other breeders but we know what "our" puppies are worth.....can't speak for other breeders. We do offer full AKC registration to selected breeders but our lines, our hard work is not for sale at a cheap price....its not easy producing good quality nor has it been cheap for us. You get what you pay for and cheaper is not always better!!!!!!!!
